Overthinking

Overthinking is a thought loop or a thought circle. You’ll end up in the same place where you started without any conclusion or ideas. It will ultimately become a trap. Most of the times we are predicting based on no real data and we’ll just become judgmental with that.
Thoughts are important like dreams and aspirations. But overthinking is a dangerous time consuming process with no positive outcomes.
Solutions for Overthinkers :
- Dedicate a fixed time or schedule a worry time to your thoughts. Whatever it is make sure you the thoughts are not looping/in a circle or its something that was not thought before. Journal it. Next time when you get the same thought read it.
- For over thinkers its difficult to perform any small action in a day. They look for perfection than progress. So the one way to overcome overthinking is doing some action. A 10 min task like doing some workout/ be aware of your senses/ setting and working on some challenges.
- Enjoy the process. Don’t look for results. Also don’t live in past or future.
- If you are worried about some action, check/think if it is something big to have an affect after one year? If not forget it, else in a book write in detail about the actions that can be performed to overcome it.
